E Lafuentes Debuts with Heavy Metal Magic

Delivering his debut record E Magic with the smashing force of Thor’s hammer and captivating listeners from the Bronx to Los Angeles, E Lafuentes is making his presence known throughout the underground metal landscape. A true one-man force of nature, his enchanting blend of industrial metal is rising from the depths of New York City to carry him from indie artist to national sensation in no time.

No stranger to the music scene, Lafuentes cut his teeth in the industry as an engineer and producer at Demon Rose Studio in the Bronx. After working with artists and producers such as Pantheon, The Cannibals, Laz Pina (Ill Nino, Shang Hi Fye, Broom Hellda) and Dennis Bell (U2, Lenny Kravitz), his inspiration led him to found his own solo metal project. Influenced by everything from Black Sabbath and Celtic Frost to White Zombie and Venom, he drafted his own genre-defying sound for the creation of
E Magic.

Featuring 12 tracks of innovative industrial metal, E Magic is Lafuentes’ first lasting footprint on the underground music scene. As the sole songwriter and performer, he brought on Laz Pina of Ill Nino and Johnny Pyro Lafuentes of Sound Wars and Sound Method Studios to co-produce the debut LP.

The record immediately drew positive media attention after its release on June 25, 2013 from
Forever Metal, describing it as “a sound of darkness and heavenly metal put into a concept album done well."
Taxi was equally enamored with E Magic, saying “This music is strong in its core and the lyrics are strong in its imagery, the musical performances are solid, tight and fitting along the lines of Ministry, White Zombie and Clawfinger. 8 out of 10 for production and engineering.”

E Magic hitting digital retailers and internet radio around the world, Lafuentes is ready to promote and perform, with plans for a US tour currently in the works. Look for his debut album on iTunes, Amazon, eMusic and others, with streaming audio available on his official Bandcamp and ReverbNation pages.
